Dax Whitfield

Grounded, rhythmically precise, and most alive in ensemble work with a communal pulse: that is how Dax Whitfield dances, and it traces to her training in West African and Afro-Cuban movement before she enrolled at Ardenwood University. The junior from Duluth, Minnesota concentrates in dance, having studied at Ashe Cultural Arts Center and built the movement foundation that now anchors her work here.
