Imani Brooks

What excites Imani Brooks most is the edge where street vernacular and concert dance overlap, a question she has been living since her years at Dance 411 Studios in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Now a sophomore at Ardenwood University, she is majoring in theatre arts with a concentration in dance, bringing hip-hop, jazz, and West African forms into contemporary work. She performed in Current and Four Walls.
