
Ivy Yamamoto is a senior BFA dance major and Honors College student from Honolulu, Hawai‘i. Her credits include Doorways, The Held Breath, and a self-choreographed solo, Tidewater, shown at the regional ACDA conference. Ivy is researching how hula vocabulary can live inside contemporary phrasing, and she will present that work at her spring thesis showing. She thanks her ‘ohana across the ocean.
